Chris Peers

Chris is an IT Support Technician at J700 Group, bringing a strong academic background and a genuine passion for problem-solving to the team. With experience supporting everything from first-line queries through to more complex third-line tasks, Chris plays a key role in delivering reliable, responsive IT support to our clients.

Chris holds an IT Practitioners National Diploma in IT Systems Support, a BSc (Hons) in Game Design, and an MSc in Computing (Distinction). While his undergraduate degree sparked a love for creative technology, Chris ultimately chose a career in IT for its variety, stability, and constant opportunity to learn, something he thrives on in a fast-paced support environment.

Since joining J700 Group, Chris has worked across a wide range of systems and technologies, gaining hands-on experience at all support levels. He enjoys the challenge of diagnosing issues, learning new technologies and helping customers get the most out of their IT, no two days are ever the same.

Chris is particularly motivated by the problem-solving aspect of IT support, where every issue presents a new puzzle to solve. His friendly, approachable nature has helped him build strong relationships with clients, making him a trusted and reliable point of contact.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys travelling across Europe, often visiting new countries with his partner. He’s also into mountain biking, weightlifting, and is an avid reader, with a particular love for sci-fi and fantasy novels. He’s even part of a book club, proving that not all IT hobbies involve screens.
