Users, extensions, contacts and voicemail settings where supported.
A planned path forward · North West
Already running 3CX but considering a different long-term platform? J700 can assess your existing environment and plan a move of supported configuration into Yeastar P-Series, with testing and a considered cutover.
Start with your needs
Businesses review phone platforms for many reasons: functionality, management, integration requirements, support arrangements, commercial fit or a change in long-term technology strategy. A working 3CX system may still be the right system for you today.
Yeastar is J700's preferred platform for new business communications deployments. For organisations considering a move, its official migration path offers a practical starting point rather than requiring every supported setting to be rebuilt by hand.
If your priority is simply to keep the present system working, explore our existing 3CX support. You do not have to commit to a migration to have a useful conversation with us.
What the tools can help with
Yeastar provides an official migration tool for supported 3CX V18 and V20 systems. Depending on version and configuration, it may help transfer the following supported settings. A successful import is the beginning of validation, not the end of the job.
Users, extensions, contacts and voicemail settings where supported.
Business hours, IVRs, ring groups, queues, inbound and outbound routes where supported.
SIP trunk and emergency-number settings, recording settings and supported phone-provisioning data where applicable.
We assess the existing environment first to confirm what can be migrated automatically and what needs to be rebuilt or reviewed. Availability depends on the source version, supported configuration, target deployment and licence plan.
Before a migration date is set
Existing SIP handsets may be reusable depending on make, model, firmware and provisioning support. J700 will confirm compatibility during the migration assessment. We also identify who needs desk phones, who needs Yeastar's Linkus desktop, mobile or web clients, and what training may be needed.
We document number ownership, porting arrangements, SIP trunk compatibility, emergency calling and the inbound paths customers use. The internet connection and resilience plan matter too: a new PBX cannot compensate for an unsuitable network.
CRM links, Teams arrangements, recording policies, custom routing and contact-centre workflows may need redesign rather than a simple import. We verify the required Yeastar edition, Microsoft 365 plan and any third-party licences before committing to a design.
A realistic plan names the change window, test calls, responsible people and what happens if something does not behave as expected. Porting or reprovisioning can cause disruption; we plan around that risk rather than promising zero downtime.
Our approach
Understand users, extensions, numbers, SIP trunks, handsets, queues, call routes and integrations in your current 3CX system.
Check migration-tool eligibility, handset compatibility, porting and licences. Agree what can transfer and what needs rebuilding or review.
Prepare the appropriate Yeastar P-Series environment, connectivity and user access before any live change.
Import supported 3CX configuration, then check users, routing, trunks and settings against the agreed design.
Schedule changes to numbers, phones and users; test inbound and outbound calls, queues and emergency routes and resolve any issues.
Your decision, your pace
J700 continues to support existing 3CX environments, including maintenance and practical changes where appropriate. If a review shows that remaining on 3CX is the best near-term choice, we can discuss the support your current estate needs.
If Yeastar fits your next chapter, explore the P-Series platform and J700's managed service. The recommendation should follow the assessment, not precede it.
Practical answers
Yeastar provides an official migration path for supported 3CX environments, including supported V18 and V20 systems. We first review the version, backup and configuration to establish what the tool can import.
No. Depending on the existing configuration, supported users, contacts, call routing, trunks, queues and other PBX settings may be migrated. Integrations, custom flows and unsupported settings may need rebuilding or manual review.
Often numbers can be retained, but this depends on your provider, ownership and porting arrangements. We check number inventory, porting lead times and routing before agreeing a cutover plan.
Existing SIP handsets may be reusable depending on make, model, firmware and provisioning support. J700 will confirm compatibility during the migration assessment; we do not assume every 3CX handset can be reused.
A phone-system cutover may involve a period of disruption, especially where numbers are ported or phones are reprovisioned. We agree a realistic change window, testing and a contingency plan after assessing your setup; we do not promise uninterrupted service.
Yes. J700 continues to support existing 3CX environments. A migration is an option, not a requirement; we can discuss current support and changes while you decide what suits the business.
Tell us what works, what needs to change and when. We'll help you assess the options, whether that means maintaining 3CX or planning a move to Yeastar.
